His six sons, Anwar Hossain, Alamgir, Shahinur, Shahjahan, Jahangir, and Nuruzzaman, took up the mantle, preserving and enhancing the sweet legacy their father had established.

The journey of Sadek Golla began in 1955 when Sheikh Sadek Ali, a tea shopkeeper, faced a surplus of milk supplied by local cowherds. In a moment of inspiration, he decided to turn this abundance of milk into something sweet. A visitor from Comilla provided guidance, and Sadek Ali ventured into the world of sweets, never looking back.

Following the Comilla visitor’s teachings, Sadek Ali started crafting what would soon be known as Sadek Golla, a special Rasgolla that bore his name. With each batch, he refined his recipe, and the sweet’s exceptional taste earned it a place in the hearts and palates of many.

Although three to five thousand sweets are made in a day, they are sold before noon. The artisans said that pure cow’s milk, high quality sugar, light semolina and number one wood are used as fuel.
Over time, ‘Sadek Golla’ is now available in three sizes and four types of packets. 20 pieces worth 5 taka, 10 pieces worth 10 taka, 5 pieces worth 20 taka and 10 pieces worth 12 taka in white color are sold in polythene packets.

Following their father’s footsteps, Sadek Ali’s six sons have continued to spread the joy of Sadek Golla. Today, they operate three shops in Jamtala and one in the Satkhira bus stand area of Navaron Bazar in Jessore.
The original ‘Sadek Sweets Store,’ located on the ground floor of Jamtala Bus Stand, offers not just Rasgolla but also an array of other sweets. Their delectable creations are distributed to various parts of the country, including the bustling streets of Dhaka. Sadek Golla has become an integral part of special occasions, from weddings to birthdays, adding sweetness to cherished moments.
A customer named Sheikh Sohail Ahmed claimed that many people are suffering from diabetes. The specialty of Sadek Golla is that it contains less sugar. So people suffering from diabetes can eat this sweet without any problem. He also said that it is very tasty and soft to eat. Its quality is also different from other sweets. So people definitely buys sweets from here.
