“If more passengers visit Cox’s Bazar during the winter season, then the BR will introduce special trains again,” Mohiuddin Arif added.
According to BR sources, the first trip of the special train-1, which has 18 coaches and 518 seats, will depart Kamalapur, Dhaka’s main station, at 11 p.m. on October 23 and arrive at Cox’s Bazar station at 7:00 a.m. the following day.
