Across the hills from the cloudy sea beach on one side is the village of Penchar Dwip, a well-known tourist attraction today. The middle of the island is home to a road known as Marine Drive. Mermaid Beach Resort opened near the Reju Khal (stream) at the western end of Marine Drive in Teknaf.
Large and small groups of tourists are drawn to the resort because it is completely quiet and surrounded by greenery. Well-thought-out design went into this man-made modern creation. Coconut water from neighboring Whales Egg Hills is served as a special treat to guests at Mermaid Beach Resort, which offers a tranquil and soothing experience.
